Frequently asked questions

WHERE DO THE PROCEEDS FROM THE MIDNIGHT RUN GO?

100% of the profits are donated to BASE to support food aid and community aid services.

WHAT IS AN AMBASSADOR? WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH THE GROUP TICKET?

The Ambassador puts together a team of 5 runners to raise money for food aid and participate in the race. The Ambassador books the group ticket, which is free for his or her team of 5. The team then pledges to raise $750 to participate in the race. The Ambassador and the other 4 runners must each raise $150. Their campaigns are linked and can be shared with their networks.

CAN YOU RUN AS A TEAM WITH INDIVIDUAL TICKETS?

Yes, just book the same date and time slot as your friends. On race day, show up at the start area with your friends and you will be integrated into the same group of runners.

ARE THERE ANY PENALTIES IF I CAN’T CLEAR AN OBSTACLE?
CAN I WALK FOR A WHILE DURING THE RACE?

Yes, no penalties will be applied. The goal is to meet the challenge and finish the course within the hour. For those who want to know their race time and those of other runners, simply download the STRAVA app on your cell phone or smart watch.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ENSURE HEALTH SAFETY?

The Midnight Race will meet health requirements at the time of the race, September 24-25. You will receive all the instructions by email a few days before. The number of runners per time slot is limited to 150. There will be one direction of traffic from the finish to the start of the race and the obstacles will be cleaned after each run. To avoid gatherings, runners will have to leave the finish area after receiving their medals and photos. There will be no showers or changing rooms on site, so please bring a change of clothes.
We take your safety seriously!

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE RACE IS CANCELLED?

In the event of force majeure or public health regulations prohibiting all outdoor gatherings, the race will be cancelled. You have three options when you buy your ticket: request a refund, postpone the ticket for the next edition or donate the ticket price to BASE

CAN I BUY A TICKET ON THE SPOT?

Yes, it will be possible at the price of $75. But to better organize the race and manage the groups, we encourage you to reserve your place.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I LEAVE IF I AM A SEASONED RUNNER?

We advise you to leave between 10 pm and midnight.

HOW IS PARKING ORGANIZED?

There are two options: you pay $10 or you drop off 5 non-perishable food items (tuna, soup, pasta, peanut butter…) in the boxes that will be on site.

CAN I COME WITH SOMEONE?

Only runners are accepted on the site.

DO YOU NEED VOLUNTEERS?

Yes, we are looking for 150 volunteers between September 23rd and 26th. Tasks: setting up of obstacles, greetings and parking managing, signage, cleaning of obstacles, distribution of medals … Volunteers have access to time slots according to availability.
